Dear Lilly,

I'm glad to hear from you, and to know that you're safe and sound! Thank you for your concern; you're really too kind, but you don't have to worry about me. We were fully capable of taking that silly automobile on! It should have known better! In fact, I believe it's safe to say that no one has to worry about that anymore. ☺

Dear Jimmy,

That's wonderful news. I'm glad you're well. I'll try not to worry so much next time. I guess I can be a little fussy sometimes. And you're most welcome, Jimmy. :)

Well, aside from that, how have you been since we exchanged letters last? Anything new or exciting in your life besides the obvious?

Lilly,

Oh, please don't misunderstand! I was not implying, in the least, that you were, to any degree, 'fussy!' I was honestly very touched by your concern, and that you would remember something I mentioned at all, especially since, to other people, it probably sounded a little...crazy. Rather, I should apologize for alarming you. I am sure you have much more pressing matters that warrant your concern. Next time, rest assured - I am quite capable of handling matters here!

[Watch that ego, Jimmy.]

I'm glad to inform you that we've been well.

...Well, mostly.

It's exams season, you see...

Jimmy,

[Can't resist giggling a little to herself while reading his reply. He's just so sweet and cute. Oh, Jimmy.]

No, it's quite all right. There's no need to apologize. You've done nothing wrong. I, too, am touched by your concern, however. Thank you. I think you may find once you get to know me better that I'm not like most people.

[Stops writing for a moment, feeling a little teary eyed but strangely not sad. For whatever reason, different doesn't seem like such a bad thing to be after all, just then.]

I hope you're doing well with your studies, too. :) You mustn't neglect them now.

Lilly
