Wait, California has 54 votes and is surely going for Obama so…26 seconds…So when this countdown completes, we’ll have won…19 second…Wait we’ll have won?...We’ll have WON!...OMG!...13 seconds, I started shouting…12…11…10 now everyone is shouting…9…8…people

Thank you for all of your hard work in Texas, Jeff!!! I was so happy to think you were representing the blue down there, even as I watched Texas turn an (unsurprising) red on the map. I was counting down, too, at my parents' house! Kevin and jumped up and hugged each other!

Single digit, half the Kerry margin, Texas may seem red but it's turning blue! I was just thrilled my friend and local candidate Wendy Davis won the State Senate seat! Overall it was a magical night and I am thoroughly exhausted.

Where did you watch the election results? In Portland and Seattle, people were crowding the BARS watching the results-- Obama and intoxicants. Great combo!
