Yay Andrew. Wonderful conversation. Yay mama. I think one thing he was asking was "can we have a deep conversation about this stuff" and the answer was YES, absolutely yes.

Wow. Well I wondered when you and Bill would have that sort of conversation with your sons. Andrew is a smart kid and very observant; he probably has heard things and seen peoples reactions. But he is very much your son, with every bit of loving the two of you can give him. Hopefully he will never have the sort of hatred launched at him that other people of color have had. I love that child to bits! (You;re fight about Jurassic.)
