I'm allergic to dairy, and the best advice I can give you is that schmaltz is your friend when it comes to cooking/baking savory things, and coconut oil is your friend for sweet things. :)

(Schmaltz also kicks butt on baked potatoes.)

I have actually never used schmaltz on anything. I am a terrible Jew, it would seem.

But I do have a jar of coconut oil on the kitchen counter, because too many people have told me to use it on Charlie's hair that at this point I'm willing to give it a go. At least he'll smell delicious.

I have the tendency to adapt rather than solve, so I have still been limping around without out a good computer. It's daunting to try to commit to a new one!

Plus I switched some settings on my work computer. The way I see it, they can get too restrictive on what websites I can visit OR they can have stupid admin passwords. They can't have both and expect me to not work around it. ;D
