Bedtime was an utter mess here - but the day itself was actually really good. Charlie ended up having two killer naps - 2-1/2 hours this morning, and another hour-long nap in the car after we ran lunchtime errands. Not exactly something he's done in a while - but he's had something of a cold the last couple of days, and a (small) fever on Sunday.

I enjoyed The Country Omega, btw. Took me a while to be able to read it, as I don't have a kindle and the kindle app wouldn't load on my phone, because my phone is too old to update to the OS it needs, and my laptop was running an old version of the OS, so before I could access the Kindle Cloud, or whatever it is called, I had to update my OS on that too, and that required me actually getting access to my MiL's passwords and codes for the iTunes store (which is problematic as she passed away more than three years ago now... the laptop used to be hers), and then, despite the OS being a free download, I had to update the credit card on file, as hers was, of course, no longer valid, and...)

Which is a long-winded way of saying: thank you for forcing me to finally get around to updating my OS. :-) And I enjoyed the book... and I'm hoping to hear more about the fall out of the marriage.

I tried to leave a review on Amazon.ca, but technology apparently really didn't want me having anything to do with the story, and I gave up. :-D

I had one other person tell me they were having trouble leaving a review on Amazon.com - and we were able to figure out it was because they'd never actually bought anything from Amazon first. I guess Amazon won't let you leave a review unless you've made a purchase from them. It doesn't matter what the purchase is, just as long as you've made a purchase (and then they don't care what you leave a review for, either, or whether you've bought it from them or not). I suppose that's their way of protecting against trolls - which does make sense. Sort of.

Either way - THANK you for trying! I know there's a couple of reviews on amazon.co.uk, but I haven't really checked the other versions. If you have a GoodReads account, a review there is just as good, too.

And I'm very glad you liked the story, and that it forced you to update your OS. GOOD THINGS ALL AROUND.
