I love your thoughts on why you write the Omegaverse. And I'm thankful for you, because if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't even know it existed. It's very outside the realm of what I typically read.
Me, too. I mean... I don't mind, maybe they realized the story wasn't what they like to read, or maybe they really do intend to read it on KU after it's released. Whatever, it's all fine, I'd hate for them to buy it and hate it (and then leave a review to that effect.) Mostly, I'm just worried that I might have annoyed them somehow, and if that's the case, I do want to apologize (and figure out if that's something I should avoid doing!)
But yay for horizons being stretched! That always makes me happy. Thank you for trusting me enough to follow me into the weird places! :)
I do, but it's not a set amount. I basically get a share in what Amazon takes in for the subscription fee (it's about $10/month to subscribe to Kindle Unlimited), and it's based on how much of the book the person reads. So if they read only half the book, I get paid X amount, but if they read the entire book, I get paid XX.
I can't be any more specific than that, because I honestly don't know what X is - and to be honest, neither does Amazon, because the given amount that they'll pay fluctuates every month, based on how many people are subscribing to the program, and how many books were read within the month. I won't have an idea how much KU brings in for at least another month.
That said: most of the available Omegaverse books are in the KU program, so I think it was a pretty good decision to join it. Whether or not it's worth it, I guess I'll find out.
