There was a photo going around Facebook: Don't you hate when you sneeze so hard you regenerate?

My alter-ego shared thoughts on this ep as well: http://riley-merrick.livejournal.com/241468.html

Okay, well, yeah. :) I sort of kind of got the whole Doctor-sends-Clara-to-safety thing. And I liked seeing him so much older, as he took care of Christmas for centuries. But you're right, the basic premise made no sense whatsoever. I thought it was supposed to be a massive show-down; instead it seemed more like a massive stand-off. Ooo. I'm all a twitter.

You know, I've tried watching that episode twice and each time I fell asleep at some point...So I know about as much about it as you do. Still looking forward to the new doctor, though.

Watch the last five minutes, if nothing else - the quick-change regeneration is actually really neat. :)

Apparently, yes, the crack has always been Gallifrey. Even when a different voice and villain came out of it in Eleventh Hour. I try not to think about this too hard.

The crack wasn't originally Gallifrey, although it was caused by Kovarian and co. trying to prevent Gallifrey coming back through the crack, which it was doing because the 'scar tissue' of the cracks was the easiest point to come through.

Make sense?
