Bill's father was in town last month, so we managed to work in a bit of travel. No child is interested in antiquities at that age. Someday he'll tell his buddies how he was there and brag about it. I wish there'd been a photo of him all dirt covered. None of you????

Karnak was my favorite! I believe that this is the temple that had four oblisks, and one of them was "gifted" to France and now sits in Place de la Concorde in Paris? If so, I just saw oblisk #4. :) Oblisks 1-3 look much better in their original location.
