1. The cold that has been lurking somewhere over my shoulder caught up with me again today. I've had some degree of unwellness for the last two weeks (coughs, runny nose, etc), and sometime overnight it decided that today was a good day to strike. (It also struck on the day we flew from Connecticut to Indiana, and silly me thought I'd licked it

Boo to the cold, hope you feel better soon. Sorry I've not been in contact much - was struck down by what I think was the dreaded Novovirus last weekend and was knocked out all week! I still haven't finished Hearts 2 (I am a bad human I know) but I hope the first four chapters were enough to be going on with.

I think there's plenty of germs making the rounds, honestly. No worries - I won't post Heart2 until I'm done with Power Play, so there's no huge rush unless you notice something that will require major overhaul. I did look at the four chapters you sent back, but I haven't had a chance to do much with them, I've been so focused on the Mystrade!

I can appreciate your sorting through your mother-in-laws place; I'm facing that with my mother's place (occupied since 1987) and dreading it. As a result much time has been spent in my own place trying to disperse some of what is clogging my closet and drawers.
Sorry to hear the cold has wormed it's way into your body at long last. Without a doubt you'll soon be back to your usual writing pattern.
