Gratuitous icon reply indicating a non-couch location for travel. Not particularly exotic but definitely magical. And as a mom who's brought kids of varying ages to the Orlando area, it wouldn't be terrible if they came along.
Noooooo, but it would be expensive. And I think Bill's intention was that I vacation solo (thereby leaving him with the Munchkin for a weekend. Mwahahahahahaha.)
Anyway, I hear Disneyland just had a price hike, and I'm sure Disney World followed suit. (Although I hear nothing but good (if crowded) things about Harry Potter's World.)
Well, I didn't really need the yak for this one. (Usually I trot them out so I can participate in the poll without skewing the results, thereby allowing me to easily see the responses.) And I don't think anyone much wants to sleep on a couch with a yak. Unless it was a very, very wide couch.
As a poor twenty-something whose friends have dispersed to all sorts of places I want to visit, I've had several great vacations that involved at least a night or two on someone's couch/futon/air mattress/etc. However, the couch itself is not a vacation, merely a means to the end of staying somewhere cool for cheap and hanging out with my friends.
