Woke up at 3.20 to hear Andrew screaming. Bill apparently had been trying to get him back to sleep since around 2am. Mommy to the rescue - in twenty minutes, I had him swaddled and sleeping, and he slept straight through to 6am. He should have had his next bottle at 5, honestly, but I woke briefly at 5, looked at the clock, thought, "Need to ( Read more... )

Either your laptop is ginormous, or Andrew's really tiny. I opt for the latter. *squee*

He's so tiny! Isn't it amazing just how LOUD someone so small can get?

Chicklet (my daughter) wants to inform you that she loves babies and that your baby is cute. :D

Are you going to the BRU on Rt 50? I haven't been there in forever, especially since I gave up on getting the refills for my diaper pail and have resorted to using kitchen garbage bags. One day H will be potty trained and I will FINALLY be rid of the diaper pail.

Andrew is a wee one, isn't he? So adorable! If it's not too personal, was he a preemie, or just a small baby? Then again, it could be that my perspective is skewed - H came out at a whopping 9 lbs 15 oz, so I don't really know what "small" is.

No, the one on 7 - it's a bit closer, plus it's by the Thai restaurant we like. We'll take any excuse. :) Do you need anything?

He's just a small baby - he was 5 pounds 13 ounces when he was born, so just above premie status, and he's in the single-digit percentiles for his height/weight. My brother was nine pounds even when he was born - it's scary to look at Andrew and think, "Dear God, my poor mother." Poor you too!

Thanks for the offer, but I can't think of anything I need from BRU. If you tell me what diapers you buy for Andrew, I'll keep my eye out for coupons for ya - diapers get expensive fast!

H's birth was much faster than S' - I was in labor 10 hours with S, but barely over two with H. Another reason why I don't plan on having any more kids - I might not make it to the hospital in time if I had a third!
