I loved the Doctor murmuring stories to Nina to help her sleep, and wondering if he's as annoying as Dex when he's that self-assured. Why, yes. He is!

OMG, he's almost worse. Because at least Dex is cute about it.

Haha! I knew it. :P

Oh man. There's a lot of love in this chapter - from the Doctor and Nina's "conversation" in the beginning to the poor Doctor having to watch Rose and Dex be all spellbound. I'm liking that the baby isn't really evil and that she's been able to communicate with Dex. I'm sure the Doctor will be able to help her and get his family back to normal. :)

Oh, also, wait, if the baby isn't evil, why did she hurt Nina? Doesn't want another baby around or something?

And Martha knew but didn't say anything - sneaky. But the Doctor can't really be mad, 'cause he was the one who taught her not to change the timelines.

To a certain extent, none of the creatures the Doctor runs across are really truly evil. Okay, maybe a few, but mostly, they're all out to protect themselves. Self-preservation of the species and all that, a very human thing when you get down to it. And I've always liked villains that are human. Janie isn't evil; she's following her instincts.

Oh, also, wait, if the baby isn't evil, why did she hurt Nina? Doesn't want another baby around or something?

EXACTLY. Janie sees Nina as a threat, at that point. Another baby might divide Elizabeth's affections. Again, self-preservation.

the Doctor can't really be mad, 'cause he was the one who taught her not to change the timelines.

Also exactly. He's not so mad, really - he's just stressed and worried and seriously annoyed. He'll glare at Martha when he sees her again, but he knows she did the right thing by not telling him.

All sorts of bonus points to you. *grin*
