I read this before going to work this am, now I'm abe to post a review.
I'm not happy, first he takes Rose to the wrong place, then he puts his size 10 big feet in his mouth, then he manages to lose Rose.. twice! First down a cliff and then to the Spaniards, oh and then Elizabeth I !! Not really having a good day are we Doctor??
Sort yourself out and get to Rose and rescue her!!

Yeah, I'd say as far as days go, this one is DEFINITELY not among the Doctor's favorites. And it's not even CLOSE to over.

LOL. I've got 9/Rose smut, actually...it's happy. Jack's even in it. :)

Jack's in it, but not in it. It's called Dares and Labyrinths. First try at writing Nine - one of the first at writing smut.

I love this chapter because there's so much packed into it. There's intense emotional drama, and action, and such perfect Doctor-y comedy.

"there had never been a mother yet who hadn’t slapped him. Only, he hadn’t really expected the mother to be Rose."

LOVE this observation.

I remain eternally disappointed that Donna's mother did not slap the Doctor. God knows he deserved it.

I think this chapter is one of two very, very full chapters in the story. (The next chapter is equally stuffed. It's up, btw, I forgot to link to it earlier, but I'm sure you're in the process of catching up to the flist, and will get to it eventually.)

That said, I'm glad you enjoyed this one, and I'll be most interested in how you like the next.
