This is so River, right here. As demanding of herself as she someday will be of him.

I really like this little story. I feel there's a lot to unpack in River. That would definitely make the episodes a lot better.

I've read this four times today, now (including beta-ing)--and I still love the characters, the dialogue; you've a wonderful ear for turn of phrase. And I adore how you can see the adult River in a character who is so convincingly a pre-adolescent.
