Well, so ends another Contest - pardon to those of you who blinked and missed it. The meeting at Arena is nearly over, I am home awaiting a plumber to deal with the master bathroom, and I am happy to announce the winner of the Yak is cecelle with what has to be the most ingenious and cleverly devised play ever.

I WON A YAK! SQUEE!

In the interest of full disclosure, "Zwei Huehner..." is based on a song by German songwriter Reinhard Mey, written in the early seventies, which was the first thing that came to mind.

The song did not, however, involve any actual chickens.

While I must admit that the "Zwei Huener" gag was milk-squirting-out-the-nose funny, I'm a little miffed that cecelle won the yak with a play that isn't actually a play. That strikes me as having bent the rules a bit. Of course, they're your rules, so do as you see fit.

One day, I'll win something from you. It's only a matter of time (and effort). Not that I thought my choices were all that funny anyway, but still...
