First, I shall say that the Harry Potter conference was the most amazing experience ever. I want to go again, preferably tomorrow. As that isn't exactly an option, I'll have to wait around for my next chance

Thank you for the phone call and the wonderfully newsy LJ about your day long Russian lesson, mall shopping included. As for Bill and your "magic wand" lines---I could jump to any number of retorts which have occurred to me.
I love how even with the little Italian I picked up in Italy I can now sort of understand when you write in Russian.
Oh, and also, this reminds me...when we were staying with my Zia Maria she had a girl about my age staying with her to help..and the girl spoke only Russian and bits of Italian. I spoke only English, with bits of Italian. So it was pretty hopeless...but everyday we'd sit in front of the TV and watch Italian MTV and sing the songs we both knew the words too.
For some reason I wanted to pass that on as a travling story. OH! And keep an eye out for your postcard.
No, tomorrow isn't an option for the next HP conference. However, those of us at Convention Alley are seriously considering doing it again. You up for another round? :-)

But if it's two years away - won't it be up against the Las Vegas convention? I thought that was scheduled for summer 2006.
