Oohh... Now this is awesome - I love what you did here with Derek remembering her how she could have been and her not knowing. Just lovely :D

I had a really hard time not making this dark and angsty. I mean, there was some darkness to it, but I think Derek will always be a little dark.

Glad you enjoyed it though.

WOW!!!!

I never expected anything like this, just freaking amazing. First off, you are a great writer, you set the scene so beautifully and I love your Derek POV, it rings true from what we've seen in the show. I also love the flashforward to the Buffy Derek knew and why she was that way, the whole Dawn scene with the lost arm is sickeningly but beautiful in a very twisted way, great job.

Thank you! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it. I was worried it wasn't going to turn out right and that you were going to be hate it!

I know the Buffy bit from the future was a little dark and twisted, but it just wouldn't leave me alone. I wanted Buffy to be injured, beaten down, and nothing like we know her. So something extremely bad had to happen.
