I thought this was very good. The now, then, and before thing was pretty cool too. And even though it was almost like 3 different stories it was easy to follow. Good job.
I'm glad to hear that you thought it was easy to follow, despite the fact that it was broken up into different sections. I was supposed to have mentions of a previous hunt gone wrong - but I couldn't quite get it to work, so I went with the flashbacks to the hunt gone wrong...
Thanks for the instant review love. You rock my socks :)
And I am slowly working my way through the spn_btvs entries, your weekly challenge is the next on my list to read. My day went to shit faster than I could comprehend...and it looks like the rest of the week is going to be following in its path too.
Really nice, i'm not a big fan of John/Faith, but you got a great dynamic here. That sense of how John runs from any real involvement, hiding behind the hunt. Two very broken people, who should really be better for each other than they are. And the mix of place and time worked really well, adding to the air of dis-connection between them.
Thank you so very much. See, I get all kinds of happy when people read pairings that they normally wouldn't, and then enjoy them (on some level).
I was really worried about how I had set the whole story up, flipping back and forth through time and between the hunts. But I'm so glad to hear that the flipping worked for you :)
Thanks for the review.
And again, even though you were leaving me a review, I can't tell you how excited I am with the fic-a-thon fic you wrote for me. It makes me smile just thinking about it :)

My favorite line:
“Well most myths don’t bleed do they?”
You nailed her. :)
I also have to mention:
Three things you do *not* want in your fic: Character bashing, Character death (unless its Jo), Sammy having a vision
HAHAHAHAHA! OMFG . . . that's brilliant and I totally agree.
*almost feels sorry for Jo*
*almost*
*grins*
