I don't know anyone to forward the jokes to but they made me grin. (And #11 made me say, "Well, duh!" while remembering past arguements with folks not from home who have the weirdest idea of how to pronounce things.)

Oooh that made me homesick, even though I only lived there 3 years. Loved the climate, loved the epiphytes and the 'slugs of wonder', and if you got too broke you could always scrounge some cans and bottles to turn in.
