“WHY?! Hannie, WHY?!” HeeChul grabbed onto HanKyung’s arms preventing him to go out the door.
“I don’t like you, Mr. Kim, the reason I get with you in the first place was to get SiWon. Now he likes me, you’re no use to me.”
HanKyung shoved off HeeChul’s hand, the grabbed his suitcases, then slammed the door on HeeChul.
HeeChul dropped onto the ground, tears spilling over onto his face. In his mind he kept asking the question why. He suddenly stood up and staggered into the bedroom, he pulled the closet door open, and pulling out the porcelain doll he got last year from HanKyung.
~Flashback~
“Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to HeeChul! Happy Birthday to you!”
HanKyung took out a bag and gave it to HeeChul. “Happy birthday, Cinderella.” HanKyung gave HeeChul a kiss on the lips. “Hurry, open it.”
HeeChul started to take the box out of the bag, he set the box on the table and lifted the lid, inside was a
porcelain doll it wore a red dress, red diamond earrings, a red ruby necklace, the strawberry blond locks tied up on top of her head.
“You like it? I picked it because it looked
like you, especially the hair.” HanKyung said as he wrapped his hands around HeeChul’s waist.
“I love it, it looks beautiful. Thank-you, Hannie.” HeeChul put the doll back into the box, he then turned around, and he returned the hug. HanKyung leaned down to capture HeeChul lips in a blissful kiss
~End Flashback~
HeeChul dropped in the middle of the room, he then began brushing the doll’s face with his finger, and he pulled it against his body, hugging it tightly into his body. He rocked back and forth clutching onto the doll, not aware that its’ face was cracking due to the pressure.
‘Hannie, please comeback, I’d do anything. I need you, please come back.’ He looked down at the doll he was clutching, ‘Was I too ugly, do I need to be like this doll? Did I not approve of your standards? …I didn’t approve, did I, or else you would have never left. I’m not beautiful enough. I have to be more beautiful so you will come back to me. Yes, if I become more beautiful you will come back to me, you will, I have to become more beautiful, more beautiful, more beautiful…’
HeeChul threw the doll by his bed, he then walked towards the closet again, but this time he pulled out a dress, the dress was from his grandmother; she had very poor eyes, she kept mistaking HeeChul for a girl, she got older, in her brain it was fixed that HeeChul was a girl therefore, she kept sending dresses to him. HeeChul always respects his elders so he kept them; they were never any use…until now.
HeeChul took out the
purple silk dress embodied with dark purple flowers and leaves. He quickly put it on, he then rushed into the bathroom, he started to do his hair, making it like the dolls, and he then took out his makeup the makeup artists gave to him. He put eyeliner on the top and bottom; after he applied a light purple shade of eye shadow. He took out a pale pink lipstick; he put it on carefully then layered it with lip-gloss. HeeChul put his utensils down, he stared at his reflection, and he frowned.
“You’re too ugly; HanKyung doesn’t want an ugly lover!” HeeChul used the back of his hand to wipe off the lipstick but it just smeared onto his cheek instead. He looked back up into the mirror, the dolls red dress caught his eye, his mouth started to grow into a twisted smile, he whispered into the air, “Red.”
‘Red will make me prettier!’
HeeChul quickly rushed and pulled out a
red Chinese traditional dress embedded with gold designs. He then ran back into the washroom, he whipped off the lipstick and applied a deep ruby red lipstick instead, he then applied bright red nail polish; he dried them with the hair dryer, he put if so close the heat was burning his fingers but he was so focused on getting HanKyung back he couldn’t feel the burning. Once his nails were done drying, he stared up into the mirror again, ‘Not enough red! I NEED MORE RED, MORE RED…!’
He staggered around the bathroom mumbling ‘more red’. He started running around the bathroom, but since it was such a tight space he ended up knocking himself and everything down the counter.
“AHHH!” HeeChul shouted as he felt a piercing of a blade cutting though his skin. He wobbly rose up, and started at his wound, deep, rich, dark red blood was seeping out, dropping onto the floor.
HeeChul’s distant eyes followed the trail of blood dripping on his arm onto the floor. ‘Blood…more blood…more red! More blood, more blood!”
HeeChul bent down and took the razor blade that he was cut with and then staggered onto his bed; the only thing he was thinking was blood and red, everything else seemed to disappear. He sat on the middle of his bed and held the blade making deep long cut on his two wrist, he watched the rich blood flow dripping onto the white sheets, he watched in fascination as if the blood was making a painting. HeeChul’s eyes started to feel heavy with drowsiness. His eyes started closing, once his eyes were fully closed his body went limp, the blade dropping beside the doll as the drops of blood landing around and onto the doll.

The next day the rest of the Super Juniors were spilt up into two groups trying to find the missing two members; HeeChul and HanKyung.
KiBum, SiWon, YeSung, RyeoWook, EunHyuk and DongHae went to HeeChul’s house ringing and banging on his door. While the rest of the member were banging at a door of a hotel, that HanKyung said he be in his letter.
The two groups at the same time had a manager/Apartment owner come up an open the door for them. Once the apartment door open the six ran towards HeeChul’s bedroom, the six rushed into the bed room, they’re eyes filled with tears, they had seen a real life broken porcelain doll.
The five at the hotel eyes filled with tears, they found the broken doll’s half also broken.
~*~*~*~
It was the funeral for the two lovers, it was small so the public wouldn’t know, and only the manager, TVXQ and the rest of Super Junior attend; many hugging each other for comfort. The two long met best friends were clutching onto each other crying their eyes out, EeTeuk and KangIn were hugging facing the two gravestones.
As each coffin was lower into the ground red roses were thrown in; they had red roses because red seem to be the two lovers link, HeeChul was wearing the red dress as HanKyung was wearing a red shirt.. Once the dirt was secure, JaeJoong walked out of the big group and stood in front of the gravestones.
“May you rest in peace and always be together.” JaeJoong said as tears were running down his face, he then walked back towards YunHo and buried into his embrace, YunHo kissed the top of JaeJoong’s head as his tears rolled down his face falling into the raven locks.
SiWon stepped up and place the doll between the gravestones, “I hope you two will find happiness in your next life, may this doll link you for eternity”
A breeze blew by, all could of sworn that they heard two voices say a faint ‘thank you’ in the gentle breeze.
