In any case, I felt that you captured Sahz's character well and that the dialogue is definitely him.
The pain and grief of both Sazh and Vanille were conveyed powerfully, especially Vanille's comments about her fear and Sahz's memories of Nautilus. It was also resolved well, and makes me wish that Vanille had been able to stick around after the game, to really meet Dahj.
Fang seemed a little tacked-on at the end, as if just there to fill her quota for the ficlet, but it definitely works.
Either way, looking forwards to more (from the both of you).

...Well, you're more insightful than I thought. I did most of Sazh's lines, so yay!
I was going for vague with Fang. Even though we were exploring the Nautilus/Palamecia chapters, Fang still had a part in it. And she did what she would have done: waited outside while Vanille said her piece. Truly, Fang cared about Dajh's fate. But ultimately, the focus was on Sazh/Vanille.
Thank you!

There really is such a shortage of Sahz!fic, even though he is practically everyone's second-favourite character. Then again, I suppose that's why - it's always the favourite characters that get attention in fics. It's a bit like that in the Gurren Lagann fandom.
On the Fang front, nice explanation. I'm looking forwards to seeing how you guys handle the Sahz+Fang dynamic. I can't remember a lot of interaction between the two, so I guess it's pretty much up to you guys.
I was going to say in the original comment, I liked the snippet about the Eidolons and how their cause is considered extremely private and sensitive.

I remember one specific one in regards to Fang+Sazh, and it was just after completing mission 14.
Well, Eidolons come into play when their summoner has enough negative emotional distress within. I'd figure that's not what anyone want to be publicized.
