Am not registered for Friday--do they even have a Friday day-pass? I'd love to be there for this, and am planning to be up there in time, but am mostly just concerned about trying to hook up with as many SSHG-ers as possible while I'm in town. I want to mee you all!!

I'm trying to find that out, now.

There appears to be no Friday pass, so I am waiting on email response to my questions.

This is why a million different registration levels is a shit idea in practice - if you're going to start the con before you start the con, then there are Issues.

My inner coordinator is getting really seriously irritated. (and this having to dig through a forum looking for answers instead of having a clear, and updated, FAQ? fucking hell!)

I, too, am trying to find out--I sent an email in the middle of the night (literally--I got out of bed and logged on!) to the info address to ask what I could do. Worse comes to worse, pick a coffee shop or something nearby and I'll meet you all there after the reading is done.

Having never been to one of these before, trying to do it on a budget, and trying to anticipate what I'd need---I didn't help an already confusing situation.

Your inner coordinator is coping remarkably well under the circumstances!!

Here's the email message I sent:

I am registered for a day pass for Saturday and Sunday at Azkatraz. I thought that's all I'd be able to get to.

But now I think I'll be able to arrive in time for some of the Friday afternoon events, as well. Can I modify my registration to include Friday? If so, how and what would it cost?

Thanks for your help!

And here's the response I just received:

There is no charge to add Friday events - we are not selling a Friday day pass. You can attend (watch or play) pickup quidditch, visit the vendor room, or go to the pre-event mixer - they're all included in your registration. Or you can add Wrock Around the Rock for $100 ($125 for the open bar ticket).

See you in a few days!

Best,
Heidi for Team Azkatraz

So it seems as though I'm set to attend the reading on Friday---I will bring a copy of this with me, just in case.

See y'all there!!!

Hello there *waves*

Sorry I've been awfully absent until now, but am coming to Azkatraz on the afternoon of the 16th (rooming with Dicky), and would like to be counted in on all the sshg events going on. Dicky mentioned the early dinner on the 16th prior to the movie, and I would be interested in signing up for this, if it's not too late please. Anywhere, any food, any cost is fine by me. Have a ticket for the movie afterwards. My flight gets into SF from London at 2.30pm, so will hopefully be in the hotel by 4.30, and need a half hour to freshen up (long flight in from London). That's if all goes according to schedule. If dinner numbers have already been booked, then no worries.

Re: the fanfic reading, I do have a couple of serial drabbles or a one shot that I wouldn't mind reading, if there's still a slot available. But again, am not fussed if it's not possible.

Cheers, and looking forward to all the madness.
