If we are all still interested in having dinner at the Thirsty Bear on July 16th Thursday

Here are the three options

1. Private room for a group of 25 - 30 $35 per person including food tax and gratuity

Room has separate bar, pool table & two dart boards

menu A :Haricot Vert Salad, Tortilla Espanola, Patatas Bravas, Gambas a Pil Pil, Chicken Wings & Small Fruit Platter (appetizers)

menu B: Ensalada Mixta, Patatas Bravas, Gambas a Pil Pil, Butifara, Arroz a la Cacadora & Mini cookies (more dinner-like)

2. Bar

a. Alcove next to bar with 5 tables , semi-private - to get this reserved for us, we would need to be there at 5 pm

b. Bar area has tables we can pull together. She recommends getting there as early as possible on Thurs/Fri.

Our group is too large for the regular dining room.

So what do you think?

In comments, let us know: 1, 2a, 2b or look elsewhere.

Also, if you didn't know already, there is some huge convention in town that week - either Thursday or Friday is the last day. I think it's probably being held at the Moscone Center, but with conventions that big, expect spillover into the area restaurants. I attended the ALA (American Library Association) summer meeting in San Francisco a few years back, and it was nothing but librarians for miles. Just a heads up.
