The journey has begun! I probably won’t see Kansas City for about two years. No more Westport, Place, Nelson-Atkins Museum, jiu-jitsu at the police academy, or Boulevard Beer! I’ll miss the place, as it really is a rather good place to live. I will also miss my family and friends, but it was definitely time for me to move on with my life and start

i have made at least 3 kyrgyzstani friends, and let me tell you - they are fucking beautiful. the best mixing in the world! asian features with green eyes and freckles. or brown eyes and auburn hair. it's just....amazing. if they are indicitive of women in general in their country (which i can only hope they are, because then there is a country of just astoundingly lovely girls) then you are a lucky lucky boy.

and, in other news: EXCITING! foreign lands are good for you, and two years feels too short come the end of it.
