It's been a while since I've gotten sick but.... this isn't good at all. And I can simply see who's fault it is.

Body's in pain. And this just seems to be the beginning.

[He's got one of those anti-SARS masks on as well as medical gloves, but at the same time he's standing in the doorway, looking in rather irked. He mutters something to himself before glancing more completely at Karen]

Do you think anything would be beneficial?

[He blinks, and then sighs] Yes, yes... my apologies.

[He grips his temples as he breaks into his case... which was resting near his feet. His teeth also briefly grit before he catches himself and pulls out two neat pills. He walks over to KAren deftly and offers her them[

I suppose we might not have any water... or even if it's safe for me to drink it. If not, I can just swallow them.

[He glances out of the room lightly, then back at her] I think it would be in our best interests to avoid it for now. I've worked on a filtration system in case of something to this effect, but there's not enough to spare for this as of yet.

[ Karen follows the pills with a lot of difficulties, her throat being sore from the coughing. She slightly chokes, but then recovers. A curse is let out under her breath. ]

[He just watches that, cursing silently as he continues to itch at his temples]

[ Karen sighs. Her eyes go over to glance at him. ]

Are you sure you're going to be alright?

[quitemysterious]

Yes. I'll function.

What's getting under your skin? I might be sick but you can't hide that.

Two of my colleagues are more than likely going to become homicidal in the next week. [He says this blankly, not really looking at her]

[He looks back at her] Nina Parker's been abducted by the Malnosso. I can't imagine she'll be very stable when she returns... but she might amaze me, as usual.

As to the other... [He sighs] The other is very dependent on a girl named Flonne. If Flonne helps out and contracts this illness... [He trails off here, as he doesn't want to say "and dies"]
