Strength Without Fighting - WLTWTFH Day #1

Okay, so I didn't officially sign up for womenlovefest because by the time I decided if I had the time to do it, they'd already thrown up their hands and said, "Too many people, do what you want!" But I still want to try to do something for it. So, since I didn't claim a character (or several) I'm planning to post about a different awesome female character each ( Read more... )

Me too. :-( And what they did to her before the end leaves as bitter a taste in my mouth now as it did then. *sigh*

And the pompous schmuck Joe Mallozzi doesn't think he did anything wrong by her at all. (He won't publish any comments on his blog that aren't totally fawning over his "glory." :-p)

I miss Elizabeth and I loved her for what she tried to do - resolve situations without resorting to violence along the way.

Oh, Elizabeth. I still get a little upset when I think about how royally her character was screwed over.

She's my hero as well, she didn't use weapons or violence but she wasn't weak and I will never not love that about her. You did a great job summing up why she is indeed heroic, and why she's a great character and why (some of us at least) love her :)

I completely agree. Elizabeth was a fantastic character. She was strong without having to constantly prove how strong she was. I loved her for that.

ELIZABETH WEIR!!! ♥ forever

THIS is one of the main reasons I LOVE Elizabeth. She doesn't NEED a weapon because her BRAIN is her weapon. ♥

She should really team up with Martha Jones at some point to discuss how cool it is to save the worlds with words.
