It doesn't quite match the tone of the rest, but I couldn't resist it ;-)

A very different kind of challenge, but he rose to it admirably. (Can you imagine what Eowyn would have had to say if he'd ducked it? ;-) )

I figured they were out at Emyn Arnen, with a smaller staff, and that for whatever reason the nurse must have been briefly out of earshot. Former warriors don't usually blench at getting their hands dirty, after all...

The 5th seemed to make everyone over at tolkien_weekly cry. I felt less bad about that knowing that when I put them in chronological order the last one would be the "running" drabble, which had made everyone howl with laughter!

They read really well when seen as a whole set. Well, they read really well as individuals, too - but you know what I mean!!

I'm glad you think so - I wasn't convinced that the Running one, in particular, would work with the rest of the set. (Hence in part writing the Wrestling one, as a bridge...)
