And congrats to you too! I'm sorry I haven't read and commented on yours yet, but I have a huge backlog - that's on the To Do list after I've knocked these into some sort of order! And yes, I liked being able to finish up with a happy one :-)

I am going to miss seeing these every day; I'd come to look forward to them, and I was never disappointed with what I read. Thank you so much for writing them.

Thank you for the compliment - I had no idea you were reading! Now I have to shake them down into order and see what on earth we've ended up with...

That's a lovely way to end. I do so like the slightly childish Greek gods model for the Valar :)

It runs the risk of making them feel a bit Pratchett-y, but then I think they are more like Greek gods (or Pratchett's gods) than Eru-level divinities - they're powerful, but they have personalities, and flaws, and goodness knows (dragging the Elves off to Valinor, ahem), they make mistakes...

I certainly don't think it was a given that it was A Good Thing. I'm not sure that the Sindar who stayed in M-e ended up any worse off than the Noldor who came back, frex...

And yes, I am definitely coming back to Tolkien fandom...

Yay and thrice yay!
