He paces back and forth, threatening to make a hole in his living room, in a vain attempt to cool down.
“Taichi, I’m-”
“Shh!”
“Mou…”
He really doesn’t want to listen to her right now.
Which is irrational of him because it’s not her fault; hell, it’s not even his fault.
It’s just bad timing. And his teammates fault. Yes, definitely his teammates fault. They had insisted on walking him home, after all.
Ohh, how could this have happened?!
“Taichi-”
He sigh and rubs his temples. “Mimi, really, I don’t-”
“Oh no! You’re going to listen to me, mister. You can’t blame me for this, those men weren’t supposed to be there!”
The incident flashes before his eyes and he spins around to glare at her (which is not fair since, as he pointed out before, it isn’t her fault), but falters and fails as he sees (what his teammates saw) her wearing that… that-
“It’s your birthday, I wanted to surprise you, and I told you to come home alone!”
-that silky lingerie and… God, it barely covers her. Those idiots weren’t supposed to see this!!
“Okay, fine, I’m sorry, but I have a lot to worry about, I didn’t remember… ah, man… I’m never gonna live this down.”
Mimi crosses the room and hugs him tight, pressing all kind of soft, warm skin against his still clothed body. Gently, she makes him sit on the couch and places herself on his lap. He really ought to get rid of his clothes, this would be so much better without his dirty clothes, that’s for sure.
“I know, I’m sorry I didn’t send a reminder this morning, but I really wanted to surprise you…”
He smirks, remembering how he felt when he opened their apartment door, to find her sprawled over the couch, all glorious and sexy and eatable (and fuckable) and a lot of other stuff he couldn’t quite think of at the time, only the joy didn’t last long because second later he heard a collective gasp at his back and his blood ran cold.
“Oops…”
Mimi’s timid voice had snapped him out of his stupor and, without knowing how, kicked his teammates out, a deathly glare and clear message.
“You saw nothing.”
“Oh, you surprised me, alright… along with my teammates.”
Her sudden blush, and the way she looks so adorably adorable, makes him want to jump her right there and then, but he’ll do that later, for now, he settles for a sweet kiss on the lips.
Who cares if those idiots saw her, at least that way they’ll know how lucky he is to have the hottest girl in the world as his fiancée.
