Trying to start on this before my meeting starts, and when my brain is still fresh (because 2 out of my 3 recordings died - I swear moshing kills my iPhone recorder). One thing I hate about winter is that I don't know what I should wear because livehouse attire isn't exactly made for keeping warm.

Although I don't know most of the bands you mention, I really enjoy reading your live reports.

I just started listening to OCEANLANE and really like their sound. I'm glad to hear their live was enjoyable enough though they're different from what you listen to.

The Japanese fans really amazed me. Just like you mentioned they don't grab the members regardless of how close they got. Well, at least that's what I noticed at NICO's lives. The guitarist really gets close to the audience during his solos, complicated ones.. yet they might have brushed his guitar or arm... but never to the point it would intervene with his playing.
