John caring for Dean. How sweet. I just love this. Despite his dislike of Dean's snot, he's acting like a real father and keep holding poor little Dean.

I like to think that there were a few years in there - between when Mary was murdered and when John's obsession really took over - that he wasn't so closed off. When he let himself show his boys that he needed them just as much as they needed him.

And how could anyone say no to baby!Dean. He's such a cute little muffin, even when he covered in snot. <3

I'm so glad you enjoyed it! :) I'd just watched In My Time of Dying before I wrote this. Wanted to bring John back to a time when he could show his boys how much he loved them in a normal, non-soul-selling kind of way.
