You know, here, once movies have been nominated for an Oscar, they come back into theatres for a while. I don't know if that is also the case in Finland? I know you already have a lot of movies on your schedule, but if you do have a chance to see Argo, even on video, I highly recommend it. I thought it was a very compelling film, and I was very pleased to see it win Best Picture last night at the Critics' Choice Awards (and Best Director for Ben Affleck!).

Trying to figure out why my job isn't a fulltime movie watcher. *lol*

That would make things a whole lot easier, wouldn't it? ;)

Now I don't feel so bad about my end/beginning of the year posts being late ;)

Making some loose plans for my 10 year college reunion in May.

Yours was just last year, right? I hope to have a good time. Deciding where to stay has been a bit of a hassle, but I think I'm finally set on that front. I didn't go to any of the official events for my five year anniversary, so I only got to see my closest friends, but I am looking forward to seeing much more of everyone for this one.

Yeah, mine was last year. It's easier to decide where to say when it's a small town. Oh, right. You're talking high school, not college. That makes more sense. High school was in 2008. I didn't go.

I need to see basically all of the "Best Movie" noms. I'm so pathetic... I think it was 2010 ("The King Speech" year) I saw almost all of them and then all of a sudden it was 2011 and I was like "THERE ARE MORE MOVIES TO HAVE WATCHED?" Since when does time move so fast.

Not at all! Going to the movies is such a production nowadays - movies are already so long, and then you have to get there like a quarter hour early to get a decent seat sit through 20 minutes of trailers to boot.When you watch movies at home, at least there are other things you can be doing, so it doesn't feel quite so time-consuming. I can understand why you don't see that many. I used to go to the movies all the time, now I'm lucky if I go 4 or 5 times a year.

I think it was 2010 ("The King Speech" year) I saw almost all of them and then all of a sudden it was 2011 and I was like "THERE ARE MORE MOVIES TO HAVE WATCHED?" Since when does time move so fast. King Speech was 2011! That was the year that Toy Story 3 was also nominated. Since the list expanded to 10 (I think it was in 2010), I have pretty consistently seen at least three of the nominees. But it's nothing to kick yourself over. Time is bypassing us all the time. But that's why they have those two ( ... )
