- Has anyone with candle_beck's phone number had any contact with her in the last seven months? (Btw, if you want to be depressed, go check out your Nudge page. So many people who haven't updated in years now.)

- I have been a movie watching fiend these last two months. If only there was a goodreads movie challenge :X The round up:

You should check out more french films when you get the chance! I tend to enjoy them, for the most part.

is there a service in america that you can call, give a person's full name and they give you the address? like in the white pages?

There are such services, but they tend not to be free. I checked the two free services I know of that do such a thing (google, if you're lucky, and Zabasearch). An alternative would be to try the post office. I've heard tell that you can send mail to the old address marked "Return Service Requested", and if the person is no longer at that address, the Post Office will return the mail to you, with the forwarding address they have on record. But that's not free either from what I gather.

I've been debating reaching out to her brother, who appears to be on LinkedIn (where I have an account) and Facebook (where I do not). I really just want to know that she's okay - if she is and just has no time for online shenanigans anymore that's fine, but the not knowing is awful.

No one's judging you ;) I probably could have found a better use of many many hours of my time :P

Re: nudging page... holy cow, that is depressing!

I know! LJ's pretty much done for as a US service, right? It's never gonna be what it was. There was a minute there where I thought people were starting to come back, but the moment's passed, I'm pretty sure.
