Orioles officially acquire Derrek Lee

Yaaaaaaaay, there's an old dude I like on my team.

On a totally unrelated note, I saw the Blink episode of Dr. Who and thoroughly enjoyed it, despite it being a Tennant-era ep. I hope I'm not being converted. Stupid Matt Smith and his stupid fez face.

**backs away slowly** No! I'm still holding out hope that Blink was a total abberation, in that it was a perfect storm of practically no Tennant combined with Carey Mulligan's adorableness. There's just too much crow for me to eat if I let myself think otherwise :P

Blink is my favorite Who episode ever, but I love Matt Smith more than... something I love a lot. New episodes in July, I think?

Oh, hooray! I didn't think hardly anyone loved Matt Smith :P I was probably only even open to giving the fifth season of new Who a chance (when johnnybvo tried to force new Who on me for the 20th time) because I sensed that he was kinda the black sheep of the Who Doctors.

I am not yet that far gone that I am counting down to new eps, however :P I just...grudgingly admit that Dr. Who may indeed have some legitimate entertainment value separate and apart from whether one wants to make love to The Doctor's hair.
