things that are earth-shattering

1. rickenbacker is still awake.

2. James Richard has thrown 7 frames.

3. James Richard didn't walk anyone.

The fact that Bri is still awake bodes well for this Friday, when I fully intend to drag her to 'Save Your Soul' at the Lithuanian Dance Hall. Hopefully two late nights in one week won't be asking too much.

mlb: victoria, rl: events

if i could have video of this entire game, forever, i'd be happy.

he was filthy tonight. all shoulders and he kept moving his lips like he was hungry for it. just... breathtaking.

this is when i wish i knew how to (a) screen cap and (b) rip video from mlb.tv broadcasts or (c) rip video from television. anything.

he was just outstanding. not a single walk! not one!

also, should i mention that this has been the first game i've actually gotten to see of his?! i'm clearing my schedule for this weekend!

I'm sure Bri will post no shortage of clips from the game, and we can probably look into dubbing it for you (ripping video from mlb.tv broadcasts has been more trouble than it's worth for the last 2 or 3 years, unfortunately). It's a good thing Extra Innings carried the Comcast feed; the Texas broadcast always likes to go to the sideline reporter while the Texas pitcher is on the mound >:[

Also, Bri says KEEP IT IN YOUR PANTS :P Pot, meet kettle?

I can't decide what is more amazing, that Bri stayed up past 9 pm, or that Richie threw fewer than 100 pitches. :-P***

Now, she must understand that she has set a precedent. The next time Richie pitches on the West Coast she must stay awake for the entirety of the game, if she wants him to do well. :-D

lol, well, he actually threw 108, if memory serves, so clearly the Brianna thing is more impressive :P

Oh, she can do that! I think the $20+ donations to PAWS are what might send her to an early grave ;)

Are you still into collecting team mini-calendars? I grabbed, like, five of them at the Tigers game the other day.

Oh, you're sweet to ask, but no! I am now trying to get into getting rid of things that I have been hoarding for years ;)
