Keep a bum like Bradley; dump a good guy like Harden - no wonder that this time is disfunctional. Harden does more for this team, just being there, than Bradley having a triple crown season.

Harden is a good guy....Keep him not as a starter but a set up guy or a closer. Take the pressure of having to go 4, 5, or 6 innings. Guys like Lee, Harden, and even Fukudome are at least positives. Get rid of the negatives like Bradley and build on these positives.

And then of course, there are the requisite 5 or 10 people with the brilliant insight that the Cubs should make Harden their closer ;)

I swear to you that the majority of Cubs fans are behind Rich and want him to stay. I know it can be hard with all the complainers online to believe that, but I see a lot of positive talk about him as well. And don't mind Piniella, he's like that about everything. ;-) Besides, Jim Hendry's still the GM and I think he might be more inclined to give Rich a deal than we might suppose. If anyone's going to go over the winter, I think it actually might be Zambrano; a lot of disenchantment's building up about him not living up to his potential, not to mention all the bitchy things he's said over this season (for lack for a better term).

Yeah! Well, not covering them in the sense of re-recording them and putting them on an album as an official track. These are more impromptu covers that bands/artists have posted only to their websites, or youtube, or recorded on request of fans. More wink-wink covers than serious covers.

Right? I have to admit, I haven't been following close enough to say - just sort of feeling a mix of awful and incredulous as I hear the BS total hit 10+. It's great that he was able to keep it together for the clincher, at least. But man, what a crazy aberration last year turned out to be.

But not as a closer. That would ruin everything.
