i've read 7 on the list, woohoo. thanks for this, gives me more ideas of what to get from the library.

i've been in love with ice box since it came out...i think it's one of omarion's better songs. and the beat kills, as per usual with timb.

That's impressive! I've read exactly 4 :X And you're welcome! If you're hard up for reading suggestions, you should still be able to find the NY Times or Publishers' Weekly Best Books of 2007 list. PW also posted a list of the 60 most underrated books of the last ten years or so. I used that a couple weeks ago when I was looking for something to read.

The beat's tremendous, and it is a good song. The video's not bad either!

This season, the Oakland Athletics will be celebrating 40 years in a city they can't fucking wait to leave

*giggles* That's just...spectacularly awesome. Really. Awesome.

As for Harden, I'll believe that he's starting the season when I see him out there on the mound throwing...without wincing.

And what do you know...I read exactly two books on that list this year. And I'm guessing it's pretty obvious which two. *sigh* I look forward to the day when I get to read actual modern books again.

Because it's true! ;)

I'd like to see him pitch at least once this year. I'm just crossing my fingers.

I look forward to the day when I get to read actual modern books again.

I used to say the same thing when I was in school! I've had a hard time of it, though. Bri's an intense reader - she really puts me to shame. She must have read 5 books for every 1 book I've managed to finish in the last 3 months.

You know, I was thinking of you today when I was watching Huston talk and thinking that marriage suits him and has made him a little hotter. For the first time I was like, "hmmm...maybe cradle-robbing isn't so bad..." You will also be amused that when someone asked him about the pitching rotation the first thing he said was, "Well, Rich Harden..." (and then those other guys). Hmmmm.

I'm jealous of Bri's reading ability. I was hoping I'd have time to do a little reading on the side this quarter, but once again, nope! And I think I only get to read 3 complete books this quarter. Which kinda sucks, but so it goes. Next quarter I'll be taking classes with actual novels again.

Heh. Thanks for letting me know! We missed part of that Q&A, and it doesn't look like TPTB will be posting them online this year.

I still need to read Middlesex. Especially now that I actually was able to get it from the library for once.
