+ A scan of my f-list reveals a lot of not coolness employment-wise, health-wise, relationship-wise for many of you. **kisses your collective forehead** I'm thinking of you, and often. I hope everything works out okay.
I'd heard about that, but it wasn't official, like, before I left for work. :D
I'll be interested to see the numbers on this one, though.
So, yeah. Peralta until 2010, with an option for 2011, and Grady through 2011 with an option for 2012? THAT IS AMAZING. I mean, it's the Indians' way, but still.
The new mlb.com layout would look good if I wasn't so attatched to the old one. This one's a lot more modern, as opposed to the old one that was really simple. & it's funny going from mlb.com's new look to all the team sites that are the same old look, hah. [Yes, I have no life & analyze baseball sites, lmao.]
But I like the simple one! :( The old layout had a natural kind of path-progression to it. You looked at the main headlines, then your eyes drifted over to the scores, then you wandered down to the slightly older headlines, and the assorted crap at the bottom. This layout is much too busy. **whines** The ONLY thing this has going for it is that damn Fast Cast video window doesn't open within five seconds of me visiting the site. I hated that :-P
You know, it's funny. Back when the ChiSox first won, I was like, well, I'm sure Cubs fans are kinda happy for them. I mean, it's kind of a city-wide honor, right? :-P I'm kind of an idiot sometimes ^_~
Moose was on MLB.radio recently and there's nothing terribly notable about the interview, in fact, it was quite boring, but Mike kinda half laughs a little at the end. So there's that.
That's pretty much the highlight of the interview. and no, I didn't replay that part numerous times just to hear it again >.>
Also, hasn't Chavvy been trying to change his "disposition" for a couple years now? I think it might be a lost cause, Eric.
*laughs* Isn't that where the whole "Chavvy's about as bad-ass as a kitten" quote came from? Chavvy trying to be bad-ass? I don't think it's going to happen either. :P
**laughs** Pretty much. And that was Mulder's reaction to the news, so it must be going on three years now that he's been trying to become edgier :-P Hope springs eternal, apparently.

Thanks, darlin'. *smooches* I'm better today than I've been all week, so let's hear it for progress.
B-Rob looked good - swung the bat well, ran well.
Some awfully nice pictures of him on the Yahoo MLB Photo feed today. *g*
