Oh, boy. Because I wasn't perfectly happy pretending that the ALDS never happened or anything. Stupid bloody pale hose.

I just splurged on a Canon Powershot and I absolultely love it, in case you care. :D

I think you told me! I ended up buying a Kodak DX6490 off ebay for a hundred bucks. I figure I'll learn on it, if nothing else? but hopefully it works out okay.

Oooh, that sounds like a deal. The higher end Kodaks are very nice. I don't think I've heard many complaints about them at all. And coming from a girl who used to work customer service at an electronics store, that says a lot. :D

I know what you mean. With the WBC, there was something on the line. ST is just.. playing. Even today the announcers were like, "This is ST. The umpires don't care WHAT you do." =\

Meh. I MIGHT buy the DVD set- mainly for the Astros & Angels.. But I agree in that it's a lot of money that I don't have.

Yeah. Plus, I actually have most of those games still on tape. Or part of them. With the BoSox, I was afraid of jinxing them, so I didn't see most of the last 4 games of the ALCS or the World Series, and I didn't tape them either, because the jinx still works if you tape :-P But there's no rush on the ChiSox set. I'm sure I'll be able to find it for less than $30 at some point, and that's when I'll get it.
