time keeps on slipping...

It's been TWO years since I met Adam in South Beach. I was 23, he was 31. Sounds like a much bigger age difference then than it does now...25 to 33. Maybe because all my friends here are older and everyone thinks I'm older (seriously, yesterday one of my coworkers could believe that I was younger than her and she's 28!) so I feel like I'm older ( Read more... )

no kidding it's easier to insert. OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ouch. ouch. i don't think i can say that enough.

hmmmmm. what kind of pill are you on now? if you're looking for a good pill, i'd recommend nordette. that's what i was on for years and loved how stable if felt compared to the other pills i used. it's a low estrogen pill.

i wonder if she'll change her mind about the iud? my doctors were all very okay with it, even though all the literature i've read agrees with your doc (the mirena people make it sounds like you really don't want it if you haven't had a kid, which freaked me out since i do want kids someday).

From what I've read, the only reason they say it's for people who have already had kids is the insertion thing. It shouldn't have anything to do with future fertility.

But since my doc was so hesitant, I'm betting that she's not very experienced at inserting an IUD, and that's scary, too. Adam doesn't like the IUD thing anymore, either-thinks it sounds too painful. I still don't know...

My new pill is Alesse. I've only been on it for 3 days...I'll check out the info on Nordette, too, thanks for the recommendation!!
