God bless Lonely Planet guides man. Srsly in Thailand try some of the street food, just avoid nameless meat.

Oh but I had the most delicious meal in Pattaya that was mystery meat! It was black and kinda stringy - dog perhaps? It's worth trying as long as you can see it being cooked thoroughly.
