I walked to the supermarket in that wind last night. I like that kind of wind too, but my shirt kept trying to blow up and at one point a folded up cardboard box flew out of nowhere at the back of my knees with a lot of force and knocked me over. Otherwise it was fun.

Long hair + wind is only dramatic and fun if you're going in the right direction. Otherwise it just blows into your face.
