…until Donghae broke it, “Tell me, Sungmin, are you two dating?” Sungmin stuttered, still shocked with the fast turn of events, “I… uh… Hae… we…”
“Yes, we are. You already saw us kissing, so why ask?” Kyuhyun answered for his girlfriend while rolling his eyes. Sungmin palmed her forehead whereas Donghae glared at the tall guy, “I’m not asking you, Cho. I need my best friend’s confirmation.” She shifted her gaze at her fidgeting friend, “So, Min, care to answer my question?”
Sungmin had her head bowed so her answer was almost a whisper, “Yes.” Donghae raised her tone, her face now red in anger, making Kyuhyun instantly hide Sungmin behind his back, “What the hell, Min?! Why didn’t you listen to me?!” She shot deadly looks at Kyuhyun, “Stop getting on my way, Cho!” But he spread his arms more, not even threatened, “But you’ll hurt her!”
“I won’t hurt her… how about you?”
Kyuhyun parted his mouth but no word came out. Donghae smirked.
Sungmin broke to tears, making the two people worry. “I’m sorry, Hae… for keeping this…”
Burning in anger, Donghae shouted, totally forgetting her thoughts about her friend’s boyfriend, “Sorry?! Min, what will-“
Kyuhyun cut her in angry tone, “Why don’t you let her explain first? You freaking out won’t change the fact that we’re together!” Another smirk was shown by the cheerful and nice girl, “Oh yeah? What makes you think so?” The guy took a step back, “Well, if you call yourself her best friend, you should listen to her reason and understand! You’re not her mother for you to act that way!”
Sungmin was expecting that Donghae would now turn into a scary alien and slap Kyuhyun but the opposite happened. Her face turned dead serious, eyes were full of hatred for the guy that you would think that she was throwing silent curses at Kyuhyun and spoke in a very low, creepy tone, definitely not the Donghae she knew - she last saw her like this when she found out that she was almost raped.
“You know nothing, Cho Kyuhyun.”
Then, to prevent from leading this argument to another level and Donghae might expose something to Kyuhyun that she swore to herself to keep, she grabbed Donghae’s wrist and pulled her inside after saying, “See you later.” to Kyuhyun.
When they got in, they saw Seohyun standing on the corner. Donghae raised an eyebrow at her, “How long have you been there?” The tall girl crossed her arms and leaned on the wall, “Long enough to hear your conversation. Gosh, Donghae, your voice is too loud!” The two girls widened their eyes and looked at each other, earning a chuckle from Seohyun, “Yah, Lee Sungmin, I already knew about your relationship since last month, remember?”
Yes, Seohyun was one of Kyuhyun’s fans who knew about their relationship. Well, she actually is an ex-girlfriend of the guy back in high school and Sungmin knows this because Kyuhyun warned her about Seohyun.
“Last month?” Donghae looked at her best friend with a crease on her forehead, “You’ve been dating for a month?” Sungmin just stared at Donghae while Seohyun chuckled and said sarcastically, “Oh my God, you don’t know it? I thought you’re her bestest friend of all her best friends!” She looked at Sungmin, “I’m really sorry, I didn’t know!”
Donghae shoved Seohyun harshly and it was now her turn to drag Sungmin.

Seohyun pushed the rooftop’s door open and saw Kyuhyun sitting on the floor, staring at the blue sky. She sat beside him, making the guy flinch at her presence. “Hey, Kyuhyun. What are you doing here?” Kyuhyun chuckled, “Nothing… just looking at the sky.” The girl admired his side profile, loving the way he parts his lips and the way his brown locks dance with the wind, “Was it a long day for you?”
The guy sighed, “Yeah… super.”
She smirked, then held the guy’s lanky arm, “I need your help with something, Kyuhyun-ah.”

Donghae brought Sungmin to a vacant room and let go of her. She paced the room, holding her head, then faced the crying Sungmin and placed her hands on her waist, “Okay, this would be the first and last time that I would listen to that Cho Kyuhyun. Explain. EVERYTHING.”
Sungmin gulped. But she then realized that she was really at fault; Donghae is her best friend and she kept her relationship with Kyuhyun from her. Best friends shouldn’t keep secrets, right? “Well… Kyuhyun… He still pursued with his courting to me… Then I…”

Sungmin nodded. She was trying to swallow that big lump in her throat because of the guilt that covers her. Donghae might be sweet and cheerful, but when she gets mad, no one would want to mess up with Lee Donghae. She was thinking if she was going to tell Donghae that something happened between them… but she is her best friend. She knows that Donghae would understand. “Uh, Hae, I have something to confess…” The taller raised an eyebrow then nodded, telling her to continue. “Something happened between us.”
She already prepared her eardrums because she knows what the other’s reaction will be, which was what happened. “WHAT THE HELL, LEE SUNGMIN?! YOU GAVE YOURSELF UP TO THAT JERK?! WHEN AND WHERE?!” Her eyes fell on her feet as if it can give her the courage to face Donghae’s wrath then told her everything that happened on that night.
After Sungmin’s explanation, Donghae sighed and palmed her forehead, “God, Min, he’s using you!” The smaller pouted, “But he said sorry to me earlier… That’s what we’re talking about…” Donghae sighed again then held her friend’s hand, “I actually thought that I would lose my virginity earlier than you… but… I guess I’m wrong.”
The other looked at her curiously, earning a giggle from the taller, “You’re so cute, Minnie. How could I not forgive you when you make that kind of face?” Donghae smiled when she continued, “Come on, I’ll give you back to Cho. But, don’t ever forget spending time with your most loved best friend now that you have a hot boyfriend.” Sungmin beamed and hugged her best friend, “Of course! Of course! I love you, Hae!”
Donghae moved away a bit, “More than your boyfriend?” Sungmin nodded.
“More than your Eunhyuk-oppa?”
Sungmin kissed the grinning Donghae on the cheeks and hugged her, “I LOVE YOU, HAE!!!” She quickly broke the hug and cutely skipped towards the door. But she stopped when she got out, making Donghae curious. She followed Sungmin and was also shocked with who she saw, “Kibum? What are you doing here?”
The guy named Kibum smiled, “I’m also studying here, Hae.” He then turned his gaze to the overly shocked Sungmin with an apologetic smile, “I bumped with your friend here and she looked scared after that… Is she shy or something?” Donghae frowned, then poked Sungmin’s soft cheeks, “Yah, Min, he just bumped with you. There’s no need to be scared… he won’t rape you.”
Sungmin’s eyes widened with that. It was like her memory of being raped was coming back to her again, which strangely left her at peace when she met Kyuhyun… but Kibum’s appearance made it go back.
