So I have a really bad cold, which does not make me so happy.

And I just signed up for this course:

Sexuality, Health and Sexually Transmitted Pathogens

I am not sure if I have the background for it, but it looks amazing!

And if I take that course I can maybe add on a second minor.

Actually he's not coming to your uni to talk about gay things sadly. He focuses on literacy and communications. I forget his last name, but can look it up for you in the next few days.

You might want to try e-mailing Greg Plugfelder at Columbia University.

Unfortunately I don't know of any Saikaku experts in particular, but if you start e-mailing people asking if they know anything about Saikaku eventually you'll find someone who knows a lot or who point you in the right direction. That's what I end up doing and it usually works out pretty well.
