Actually, they didn't XD Not particularly anyway. It has come up in conversation. But Gail Simone is pretty famous and it's her most famous work - and I'm trying to uh . . . complete my comics education? lol.

I did have a very brief brush with reading Western comics in like 1994/95. Very nearly X-Men only though and pretty short-lived, since I had trouble finding stuff I clicked with and didn't know ANYONE who read comics.
