Summary: Jin and Kazuya are partners in stealing very special artifacts. They work for an organization called Illuminati.But one day, Kazuya thought that Jin betrayed him that caused his death. When they were reincarnated, Kazuya used Ryu, to kill Jin's reincartion, Hayato.
~over 4000 years ago~
"Jin, this kid here is going to be your partner" Jani said, "his name is Kazuya"
"Yoroshiku, Kazuya desu" the shy Kazuya introduced his self, he looked like about only thirteen years of age.
"I'm Jin, let's do our best" Jin repiel, that time, he looked like he was fifteen or sxteen.
"H-hai" Kazuya blushed.
"Don't worry, I'll take care of you," Jin promised.
"Un."
Their first mission as partners was to steal a magical feather of a phoenix in a mansion.
"Kazuya, fly faster" Jin said.
"Hai, gomen if I'm slow. But I'll try my best to keep up" Kazuya replied.
"Hold unto my hand, I'll take you" Jin reached his hand to Kazuya.
"Hai" Kazuya held to the older boy's hand.
When they reached the backyard of the mansion.
"Jin-kun, are there traps in here?"
"Probably, so be careful"
"I... I'm scared,"
"I'll protect you, it's normal for a beginner like you to be scared, since I've been doing this since I was kid, about seven years ago, I've seen phantoms more scared than you in their first mission,"
"Ok"
"Hey! You!" a guard shouted.
"Run!" Jin said and grabbed the younger boy's hand while running,"You go first, I'll take care of them"
Then Kazuya ran faster to pass Jin and Jin stayed behind himm throwing flames to the guards running after them.
"Go, faster! We're almost there!"
They reached the room at the center of the mansion. Their target was also at the center of that room. Jin took a box from his bag and put the phoenix feather inside it and put the box back to his bag.
"Ah! Help me!!!" Kazuya shouted, he was caught by the leader of the guards and a knife was pointed to Kazuya's neck.
"Whay the?!"
"Drop you weapon and don't move Phantom! Or I'll cut the throat of this young one," the leader warned.
"Sure" Jin dropped his spear and closed his eyes.
"Go, capture him!" the leader commanded.
The other guards trid to touch Jin.
"AH!!!!" a guard screamed while he was running away and burning.
"What did you do?!" the leader asked.
"Nothing, it's just, no one can touch me except my fellow Phantoms"
"A-a kid like you is... t-the Fire Phantom?!"
"Yes I am" then Jin gave a death glare to the guards, "can't you feel the heat on the ground?"
"What?!" the guards looked down to the floor and they noticed that ithe floor is smoking and starting to be red, "A-AA, AHH!!!!!!!"
All of the guards ran away from Jin ss quick as they can or else they will be toasted guards.
"Jin-kun... gomen... I think... I'm a burden to you... a beginner like me shouldn't be partenered... to a professional like you..."
"Ssshhh... Don't say that you're a burden to me Kazuya," Jin embraced the small one, " All beginners need a professional to guide him so he can be a better one, don't worry about it... I know you're still not capable enought to be alone, I'll protect you. So, let's go back, our mission here is over, ok? And stop crying."
"Un.."
It's been a year since they became partners. Kazuya knows that he is already capable to take care of his self in their missions, but still, Jin keeps on insisting to protect him and it made he feel that he's a burden to his partner. They also developed a brotherly relationship, but not for Kazuya. Even if he's calling Jin 'oniichan' now, he loves him in a different way.
The was still shining, Kazuya invited Jin to have lunch in his house, they are humans this time.
"Hey, Kazuya. I'm here" Jin said as he entered Kazuya's house, "what's cooking?"
"Nothing, it's just uh... steamed fish nii-chan"
Then Jin hugged his so called brother from behind.
"I missed you Kazuya" Jin whispered to the younger boy's ear.
"N-nii-chan..." Kazuya blushed.
"Don't you missed me? I haven't seen you for three days. I missed you so much" Jin tighten his hug to Kazuya.
"Of course Nii-chan I missed you too, I'm so glad that you said yes to my invitation,"
"That's good to hear"
"AHH!!!! The fish!!!"
Kazuya rushed to the food he was cooking and fixed the trouble and Jin went to Kazuya's bedroon and laid down to the bed.
"What if... we're just normal humans? Will I be able... to love him freely?" Jin thought.
"Nii-chan! The food id ready!" Kazuya shouted from the kitchen.
"Kazuya! Come here for a while!"
"H-hai! Coming!" Kazuya ran to his bedroom where Jin was, "why did you call me nii-chan?"
Jin stood up and approached Kazuya. Then he held both of Kazuya's shoulder and kissed the younger man's lips that shocked Kazuya.
"N-nii-chan... what are you doing?" Kazuya asked.
"Kazuya, I can't resist you anymore" Jin pushed Kazuya to the bed, "I love you so much, I can't hinder my feelings for you anymore," and he slowly positioned above Kazuya.
"Nii..." before Kazuya could finish his sentence, he was stopped by Jin's lips.
"Don't you love me Kazuya? Not as your so called brother, but as... as your boyfriend."
"I love you nii-chan... but you know that... Phantoms are not allowed to love"
"We're humans now Kazuya"
"Nii-chan..."
"Please, from now on, call me Jin"
"J-jin?"
"Yes, call me Jin, ok? Let's stop this brotherly relationshio and be as secret lovers. I don't want to lose you, I love you so much Kazuya"
"Jin... I love you too... I love you I love you I love you. I started loving you when Jani-sama introduced you to me"
"Kazuya, I'll take you..."
"Jin..." Kazuya nodded.

"Damn it! Why do I always remember and dream of that?!" Kazuya thought, "you hate him Kazuya, HATE!!! remember, he betrayed you"
