lately i've found myself addicted to country music. no one could be more surprised than i am. i grew up in georgia and i hated the stuff back when i was a southerner and now that i live in california i can't get enough of it. i think it's that i find it really therapeutic; for some reason a lot of country music has an overly simplistic but ( Read more... )

I have a lot of songs that help me get through feelings like that, and the first one that came to mind was

Most Spitz songs, actually.

As for non-Spitz, I just discovered this one by Polaris this week and it gave me a mellow, hopeful feeling. Also, Orienteering by Little Name. I'll have to share that one asap.

I love Country music, I mean it's not my favorite kind of music but there are plenty of awesome songs that I just can't get enough of... I really like the dixie chicks and stevie nicks
