The awesomeness of Sound Relief

So, Sound Relief today. Yesterday now, actually. Huge festival at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (with a sister concert up at the Sydney Cricket Ground) in aid of bushfire relief. For the Melbourne show, all three of Hunters & Collectors, Split Enz, and Midnight Oil reformed. Unbelievable line-up. Yes, I somehow got tickets. Pretty decent seats ( Read more... )

I'm glad to hear that you had such a good time!

Just to make it even better, Alison and I got news during Poor Boy that our friends had scored us tickets to the second concert U2 are playing in Amsterdam in July!

Couldn't agree with you any more there, Axver. It was fucking unbelieveable. I'm writing an article, which I'll post on the forum later.

Don't think anything will surpass U2 when I saw them, but that was absolutely brilliant. Three reformed bands, all absolutely nailing every song.

Hi was looking up the set list for Midnight Oil and found this entry..Loved reading it.. I completely agree on all your comments loved seeing the Enz for the 1st time and Hunters and Collectors. Even liked the hearing the voice sung by thousands too.
