Once when I was in Auckland I saw a busker swear at a woman who gave her money... somehting along the lines of "why don't you give me some more next time, bitch!" I mean WTF???

Hah, wow, now that's a new one. Personally, I would have just gone and taken my money back ... along with a bit of "interest" to boot!
