The most interesting article on the news tonight was, in my opinion, the release of an extensive list of names of prisoners held at Guantanamo Bay. Interesting, because it shows such blatant hypocrisy on behalf of the US government. Of the five hundred and fighty-eight people on the list, only ten have actually been charged with anything. I think that this whole thing sucks really bad! I don't really think that this war was all about oil, but I do think that it helped, and I think that the time is up for Bush making silly decisions. He has no right to keep these men. They need to find a reason to put them in there, and then let it be. If that makes any sense!

I hope that we have two really good candidates to choose from in the next election, because Bush won by default both times in my opinion. It is sad to have to vote for a leader because you don't like the other one and you feel like anyone would be better than the guys he was up against.

Unfortunately as long as the media is only willing to cover the two major ones, I don't think there will be much of a chance for a member of another party (or an independent).
